The scene was a little bit odd:
In the glade a black unicorn was standing and beside him, Death was
standing. A centauress was lying on the grass and a human male was
sitting on her as she have the right high when she was lying down.
The human was Jim Clinch. He was sent to this world by a teleporter
and when he arrived, well it was scary as he was welcomed by Death
himself. Later it was being even worst as he understand that this
Aradd was no human, he was a big back unicorn. Also he have thought it should just take a few hours to make the
interview. That was also not as it have being. The last night he spent on the local tavern in
the small village a little bit from this glade. However, when he
meet Death and the unicorn here, he first not understand what the centauress was doing with them. Until Aradd just told him:
"I noticed for a short while ago, that it was nothing to sit on here.
You can sit on her, it is better than sit on a stone, or so..."
"What? ...Eh, okey but..."
"Don't worry," the young centauress interrupted him. She present
herself as Shalya, and told him not to be worried. "I can carry your
weight easy. Think that sometimes I have a stallion on my back, and
they are very much heavier than you." And with this word she was lying
down on the ground.
Jim didn't know what to do, but just stand there and look like an
idiot was also not a good point. He sat down on the centaruess back
and took his pen and paper and asked:
"So, time to ask some questions?"
"Yeah," said the unicorn. "Go ahead, but I can already guess your
questions. It about the next year?"
"That is correct, 2007... well in my world, but I can guess that it
is not 2007 here next year..."
The unicorn just cocked his head, but he didn't tell Jim what year it was.
"I have understand that it will not be so much action here next year,
or...?"
"That is no secret. I have already mentioned when I reopend this
world again, that it will not continue to expand so much in the
future. So next year the rules here will be changed."
"So," said Jim. "I can guess that the new rules is no good news for
the visitors... or?"
"That depends, the rules is so that of course everything here will
be for free, as usually. I have made some promises, and I always
keep my promises."
"I think it is a good suggestion if you tell me, and the reader of
this, all the information you can give. That will make it much
easier to understand what is ongoing here."
"So first of all: The fee to enter will still only be the visitors
souls."
"Eh... All? I mean, is not souls important..." Jim have never hear
anything like this comments before. Otherway, it was not so often he
meet unicorns either.
"Well, I have learn that souls is not so important for mostly
humans. Money, well that is something complete different. Many can
easily kill for that... So Another World will still be free to enter,
but this is the new rules:
Artists that have a own website there they upload artwork that can
also fit here, will not be update here, if the artist not contact me.
If so, artist is welcomed as usually.
That also means, for example, if artist want to have a higher
resolution of the drawing/drawings here than on he/her own website.
If so, it is no problem to add them here.
Artist with no websites and/or artists that only post on forums and
so on, will still be updated here in Another World."
"To me this seems to be a plan for lesser work for you..." added
Jim.
"That is also a correct comment. But the other answer is that
Another World have over 450 individual artists. Today it is not
possible to remember if the artist have give permission for all
future artwork, or those that was added when the artist entered
Another World. I must say that mostly artist have given permission
also for the artwork that will come in the future, but the mail sendings and updates takes
several hours to do, and I think it will be other, more fun things,
to do."
"I think this will be bad news for some of the visitors here."
"Maybe, but other way I must say that I don't think many artist will
miss that Another World not is updated any longer. The reason is that
mostly artist have their own websites, forums and they are busy to
upload artwork there. They have not time to make a visit here, and I
understand that. But I have promised that Another World will still
be aviable to visit, even as it will not be updated often."
"So, if artist want you to upload the artwork they have on their own
websites, they can just contact you..."
"That is correct and if they do so, I don't need to send a request
mail to them. That will save some of the around 400-700 hours/year
of work it is to handle Another World."
"That is many hours, so I think mostly visitors and artist will
understand that." said Jim. |
